CONFERENCE: "The CPHS organized an international conference Liberal Peace: Value-Based External Models and Local Alternatives, on June 16-17, 2008 in Paris. The final report is now available, which provides a summary and analysis of the in-depth discussion on the underlying theoretical models of post-conflict peacebuilding and their practical applications."

CYCLE
OF SEMINARS : CPHS has launched a cycle of closed

The CPHS is currently engaged
in a comprehensive and coordinated set of projects aimed at providing
an alternative perspective of the liberal peace model based on the
concept of human security. These include:
Collaboration with the University of Kabul
on Models of Peace and Perception Gaps (September 2007-July 2008)
The CPHS is currently involved in a six month collaboration with
the students and faculty of the Faculty of Law and Political Sciences
at the University of Kabul, supported by the Embassy of France in
Kabul. More...

Peace", in collaboration with the Peace Research Institute
