CONFERENCE: "The CPHS organized an international conference Liberal Peace: Value-Based External Models and Local Alternatives, on June 16-17, 2008 in Paris. The final report is now available, which provides a summary and analysis of the in-depth discussion on the underlying theoretical models of post-conflict peacebuilding and their practical applications."

CONCENTRATION: CPHS has developed a concentration in Human Security for the Master of Public Affairs (MPA) at Sciences-Po.


CYCLE OF SEMINARS : CPHS has launched a cycle of closed seminars on "French actors in peacebuilding".

RESEARCH 

The CPHS is currently engaged in a comprehensive and coordinated set of projects aimed at providing an alternative perspective of the liberal peace model based on the concept of human security. These include:

Collaboration with the University of Kabul on Models of Peace and Perception Gaps (September 2007-July 2008)
The CPHS is currently involved in a six month collaboration with the students and faculty of the Faculty of Law and Political Sciences at the University of Kabul, supported by the Embassy of France in Kabul. More...
